W. Scott Jones is a "published" author of three novels. He published his first novel,

A Storm in the Carolinas in 2021. A year later, he published The Treasures of a

Carolina Summer. Both have received excellent reviews. In February of 2024, Jones

realized a life-long dream of becoming a "traditionally published" author when his

third novel, What A Crowd was released. This successful sports novel achieved the

Number One ranking as an Amazon Hot New Release in the YA/Teen/Football 

Category as well as ranking in the Top Ten in several categories. His multi-genre 

 books have been described by literary experts as a combination of historical fiction,

cozy mystery, splashed with Southern Gothic. 

Jones, a semi-retired educator, coach, and athletic administrator, has served n

various public and private schools in South Carolina. He has been fortunate to

serve many students and players during his thirty-plus years education career.

Born in Alapaha, Georgia, Jones grew up in a rural area near Sumter, South Carolina.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Jones loves to write, motivate

young people, tell a good story, and have fun. Besides writing- Jones loves to spend

time with the family Labradoodle (Jasper), play golf, and visit those "places" where 

new stories are found. Jones also loves to connect with his readers at events or on

social media.

 He is married to Bridget, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor. They have

been married for thirty-plus years. They have three grown children.
